Raiders Fall in Semifinals

South Colonie Raiders watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 7-1 loss to Westland Hills Wild on Sunday. Westland Hills Wild took the lead on a single in the first inning.

The South Colonie Raiders struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Westland Hills Wild, giving up seven runs.

Lexi was in the pitcher’s circle for South Colonie Raiders. The pitcher went four innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits and striking out four.

Danielle, Amelia, and Ava all had one hit to lead South Colonie Raiders.

Westland Hills Wild 12U totaled seven hits. Juliana and Tate all managed multiple hits for Westland Hills.
